The Walkerton Hawks put an end to their season on Saturday April 25th with their team awards banquet.  Social and Dinner were held at the Dunkeld Tavern just outside of Walkerton.  For a complete list of winners and photos, click on the Awards tab up top.

Hawks Thank Fans

The Walkerton Hawks would like to thank their fans for another successful season.  Without the support of the BEST fans in the OHA who knows where the Hawks would have been this year.  With the fan support all season long the Hawks were able to repeat as Western Jr C Champions.  Keep coming back to the site to get news on your Walkerton Hawks during the offseason. 

Hawks REPEAT as Western Jr C Champions

The Walkerton Hawks have repeated as Western Jr C Champions with a hard fought 4-3 win and 4-2 Series Win.  This is back to back titles for the Hawks who go up against the Alliston Hornets in a rematch of last years OHA Quarter Finals.  Scoring for the Hawks were Andy Mitchell, Mike Roelofsen, Trevor Harper and Bill Terpstra.  Scoring for Hanover was Kevin Tremble, Rob Hellyer and Chris Hopkins.  Clayton Fritsch picked up the win making 23 saves.  Mike Nigalis took the loss making 28 saves.
